Introduction

Get Digital Twins and 3D Models of the Real World

Geopipe is creating the authoritative whole-Earth digital twin, built by AI. We know what's in the world, not just how it looks, and use our algorithms to produce highly accurate 3D maps and models of real-world cities. View Geopipe's digital twins in a browser, and select an area to download, or stream our environments directly into game engines or your own software. We license our data via monthly or annual self-serve plans, or if you need more data, a large area, or to redistribute our data in your next game or experience, get in touch.

Download

Use Geopipe ContextSnap to preview Geopipe's 3D cities directly in your web browser, then select an area to download in the file format and level of detail you need for your favorite software and workflow with which you're already comfortable. Try it free for evaluation or academic use, then sign up for a monthly or annual plan to license as many models as you need - constantly updated with what's currently in the world.

Stream

Whether you're building the next open-world game or data-driven webapp, you need to fetch 3D map and model data on-the-fly. The Geopipe SDK and API makes it possible to dynamically stream real-world cities directly into your own software, and with a Unity SDK, 3D Tiles support, and a RESTful API, Geopipe integrates into any application you can imagine.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

What makes Geopipe different?

First, Geopipe understands what's in the world, not just what it looks like. We label every building, street, sidewalk, tree, window, door, and other object, then build rich digital twins in multiple levels of detail that you can easily customize to your needs. Second, we give you models in industry-standard formats that you can use in your existing software and workflow.

What file formats does Geopipe generate?

You can download our models in FBX, OBJ, DAE (COLLADA), GLTF, GLB, and OSG formats. You can also stream models directly in game engines like Unity and your own applications using the Geopipe API and SDK.

What levels of detail are available?

For every city we cover, you can choose models ranging from plain white, untextured massings, up to fully textured, geometrically detailed models. For each level of detail, you can choose to include or exclude features like terrain, structures, and foliage. Select formats contain the embedded metadata with which Geopipe labels every object it reconstructs.

What can I do with your models?

Geopipe's models are useable for design (you can easily replace any structure with your own), rendering, and interaction in games and VR. Anywhere where you might otherwise spend weeks, months, or years hand-modeling the real world into 3D maps or 3D models, Geopipe's AI-modeled digital twins can help.

Can I use your models in my app/game/experience?

Our paid monthly plans let you license our models for renderings, visualization, and even 3D printing. If you want to redistribute our models in your own software, games, or experiences, get in touch with us for a Redistributable License. And if you want to test our models internally or for academic projects, you're covered with our free tier!

How do you build your models?

Geopipe's AI starts with raw sensor data like photos, laser scans, and more. Our proprietary machine learning pipeline identifies every object in a city, then rapidly reconstructs rich digital twins at multiple levels of detail. We reconstruct regions ahead of time (we can reproduce New York City in less than a day), so you can download models instantly.
